GAJF Lends A Hand to Helping Hands of Georgetown

In addition to our many volunteer hours, $2,500 of supplies and monetary donations were given to Helping Hands to provide food and services to the underserved neighborhoods and residents in our community.

Volunteer Activities included: Unpacked boxes of pantry items & stocking shelves – Making Lunches for the mobile food pantry that hands out over 700 bags lunches per week – Provided and served over 270 hot meals for the Helping Hands Sunday Dinners

June 1 – Spending the last of 22-23 budgeted funds, GAJF members Anne Bustos and Diana Underwood present Helping Hands Manager Cara Skinner with pantry food & a check for a total value of $1,500!
