President’s Message
I have given my personal goals as President a lot of thought this year. I’m honored to be named President of the 2009-2010 year. This year I would like to see more community projects than we have ever done before. I want the community to know that GAJF is here within Georgetown to help wherever and whenever needed. We can provide such a positive force and act as role model to new and future members. This year we have several projects planed that will really impacted our community. We have already started with the “Fill The Bus” school supply drive for the underprivileged children within Georgetown. This is going to be just one of the successful projects that we have this year. Our fall fundraiser is going to be a great way for us to spend fun yet productive time together and will also benefit our community through the funds that we raise. The Board and I have several projects planned that will bring us closer together as a group and will also communicate the mission of GAJF in the process. Communication is a huge part of my goal this year. Every member will know exactly what GAJF is doing and what we have planned. I encourage each one of you to join us and help us grow stronger through service. In closing, I again want to thank you and let you know how excited I am to lead this wonderful group of ladies into our next year. I can’t wait to for you to see what we have planned. would like to start out this letter by thanking each and every one of
our members. You are here because you want to make our community a better
place. You have made time in your busy schedules to volunteer for projects
that will benefit the less fortunate within our community and I thank
you for that. We have an amazing group of women and I’m proud to
be a part of such a wonderful and caring organization.
