Georgetown Area Junior Forum was chartered in 2006, and is honored to be the newest chapter operating under the guidelines of Junior Forum Incorporated (JFI). JFI has chapters throughout Texas including: Austin, Baytown, Beaumont, Cypress-Woodlands, Dallas, Houston, Nacogdoches, Pasadena-Bay Area and San Antonio. JFI was created as a working link to provide communication, cooperation, education, information and the sharing of ideas and support for all the Junior Forum members throughout the state striving to make their community a better place.
Like our sister chapters, Georgetown Area Junior Forum is a non-profit structured organization 501(c)(3).
In the spring of 2007, the first Nite at the Races was held. This event continues to be a major fundraiser on the first Saturday in May.
In May 2008, we installed our first provisional class of 22 new members.
